Writing Summerize Homework 12.30.2011

Creativity

We, class 21, heard a simple lecture about creativity from Mr. Dean. It was beneficial time and I learned many things from him. For example, I was able to know that creativity is not just given things without any effort. Now I'll start my summarize:

He's first interest began when he made a game. His fellows told him that is is creative, and he decided to look more on creativity.

Creativity is production. It is 'making' something. It is not a reproduction. Also, creativity needs to be accompanied by 'fun'. It is not easy, and it is not a magic. It requires research.

He told us about science and pseudo-science. It is contrary thing. It is science, and fiction.

Also, the important thing is that restriction can be important thing to improve creativity. But some things damages creativity:
John Cleese said that phones kill creativity. It causes too much distraction. However, money and prize makes person too focused. It needs a bit of distraction. Creativity needs some controls. The best way is to use random word. This is not too distracted and not too focused.

Now, I'll give you a summarize that Mr. Dean told us about the corrections of creativity for wrong myths.
Firstly, drugs and alcohol does not strengthen creativity. Secondly, Structure is not bad for creativity. It is good for it.

But he told us about some problems too. Teachers don't want creativity from their students. Especially for low level class students.

With this, the lecture ends.

Our class 21's first presentation was about Asterix. My character was Pirate Chief, who is the supporting character. My charcter doesn't appear much. I was so sad about it.

Hi~Not only because introducing me is a homework, but also the reason to make my blog more various and splendid.

To give you some information about me, my real name is Yunnie Cho.
I have so many things that I love to do. But especially I like detective novels, or animations.
I love so much that I can't live without them. (But actually I can live)
For detective novels, I like Sherlock Homles or Agatha Christie's novel. For animations, I love

Detective Conan and Detective Academy Q.

I like movies too. I like movies like Narnia, Twilight, Harry Potter etc. I like almost every sports. I like it as same as average students, like soccer, basketball, badminton etc.

Let me finish to say about my interests about playing. Now, I'd like to introduce about my favorite subject, and things I like.

Firstly, my favorite subject is science. Science is fascinating subject. Actually, things I study from my school is quite boring. But the 'science' is really interesting. I went to Education of gifted students from Nambu District Office of Education for one year, and it was better than school science.

Telling you more, I want to mention about debate. It seems that debate is boring and complicated thing, but if studying more deeply we can realize that it is such a fascinating thing to debate on issues such as economy, human rights, school restrictions, freedom of speech etc. Watching someone who is good at debating is exciting too. To be honest, I'm not a excellent debater. I'm just saying this because I can learn many things. So don't think that I'm boasting.

I wish I can be a good friend with you guys.

first week in GLPS

I'm back. I want to tell you about my experiences, and feelings about the first week in GLPS. Now, I have many friends and I really appreciate about it. I'm really thankful that I can meet so many good people.
Firstly, I like food. Other camps don't give such a delicious food as GLPS does.
Second, playing in dormitory is always exciting. Yesterday, my roommates all danced and sang a song.
Third, taking pictures is something that I want to recommand too. Here in KMLA, the environment is good.

GLPS in this KMLA is nice experience. I'm getting adapted to this camp. At first, it was really hard job to climp to dormitoray and classes, but now I'm comfortable walking a lot. I get friendly with our teachers too. They are all nice and funny teachers. Our Mock Trial was fantastic, too. Our team won, and I got 5/5 point.
It was also good experience to meet our classmates for popsong contest. Ski was fun too, and I'm looking forward for my CA.

P.S. We had Pop Song Contest on Saturday. I'll class 21 had the third prize.
The CA was kind of disappointing. The debate was really boring
